Something New
Share
It’s been a busy start to 2023. While working on Spring Markets that feel like they’re right around the corner, I’m also working some new things for Sonnet. Here’s a breakdown of what’s been happening since the end of 2022.
NEW PACKAGING
One of the compliments that I’ve received since launching Sonnet Candles is how much people love my packaging. It’s something that I’m so happy to hear because of how hard I worked to create the look and feel of the packaging for all of these products. When I learned the jars I have been using were no longer available. I had to figure out what to do next. I loved my jars and hate that I have to phase them out (more about this later). There was no way to keep my jars in stock so I thought this was a perfect time to do a small rebrand.
Majority of the packaging will stay the same. The only changes would be to the jars. I found jars that resembled the jars I’ve been using. Switched the lids and changed the labels. I wanted the look of the new jars to be chic, modern and classic. I also wanted the jars to easily fit into any space in your home and compliment your decor. I spent a lot of time going through label designs and settle on this one. What do you think? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
I didn’t want to change up the look and feel of the packaging too much, but I also wanted to modify the label design just a little to note the change in packaging.
The new packaging for the 9 oz jars will debut at the Spring pop up shops.
RETIRING A FEW SCENTS
Ugh! This wasn’t easy to do. Every scent I’ve released has been one that I love. But not everyone has felt the same so I’m unfortunately retiring Essence, Bohemian, Grace and Luxe. Some of these scents may return during the Fall and Winter season.
MYSTERY BOXES
Debuting at the Spring pop ups will be Mystery Boxes. With the change in jars, and the retiring of scents and other products, I’ve create mystery boxes that you will be able to buy at pop ups and in the shops while the boxes are available.
There’s more things in the works that is still being tested and I don’t want to share yet but more coming soon.
